Asheville is a great city, a quick road trip from Nashville. Favorite spots include Bearwallow hike, Blue ridge parkway, Catawba falls. There are more breweries than can be counted.
We went to Myrtle Beach, SC to enjoy some heated pools and lazy rivers. Read about all the fun that Myrtle Beach had to offer for parents & kids!
The drive from Nashville to the Atlantic Coast is a long one. We broke up the trip with a visit to a friend near Raleigh. Read about our drive and where we stayed on the way.
We saw so many travel blogs raving about this resort just east of Austin, so we knew we had to make it one of our destinations.
We made a stop here for the first time since college, and it was so fun to show our kids some staple New Orleans experiences like beignets, the zoo, and crawfish.
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans and enjoyed using our new globalist status for some fun perks.

On a more recent family trip to Orange Beach, we stayed at the lovely Holiday Inn Express Orange Beach. This beachfront location was perfect for us & the kids being able to go back and forth between pool and beach.
